Cupcake Loves.

Being the little baker I am, I got an itch to bake some cupcakes while we were stuck inside all the past week.
Soon to be chai cupcakes!

The finished product!

This one is the Chai cupcake, with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting.

All of the cupcakes in a pretty display.

This one is the pumpkin mocha cupcake with a chocolate cream cheese icing that has a hint of pumpkin mocha in it.
It's probably no surprise to anybody, but I love to bake. I actually have this secret dream of owning a photography studio/cupcake bakery. It's the perfect combination of the things I love. And it's quite a ways away. But, we'll get there.
I think that I am finally caught up on blogging... Now I just need to blog for today!

Project Restyle #2!

This is kinda a small restyle, but it's a restyle nonetheless, right?
I got the romper about a year ago, and I absolutely loved the polka dots, but because I have such an hourglass shape, the drop waist just didn't really work on me. Soooo. I cut off the piece of fabric that held the drawstring onto the romper, and ta-da!
I decided to not put in a drawstring, but gave it some flexibility so that I could wear it with all kinds of belts.
I also totally stayed dressed like this all day, not just for the pictures. Even though I didn't leave my house, and didn't see anybody outside my family. But, oh well. it was worth it.
There's still more to come!!
Love, Abbey.

Snowpocalypse 2011

So, in case you didn't know, the Midwest got just a little bit of snow last week.
Ok, averaging about 17 inches. But, it's a little bit of snow compared to the North Pole, right?
Anyways. We got some snow, and I haven't been to school since last Friday. And I don't have school tomorrow. I am psyched. I've taken this time off to relax, take lots of pictures, bake, and be creative a little bit.
My sweet kitty climbed up into my lap to watch the snow while I was taking pictures. It was even sweeter since she NEVER does something like this! Love her.

Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow!

Our nice and warm fire!

Our water meter was almost completely covered!

Snow Angels.

Nothing like warming up with a nice cup of Chai.

This pretty Cardinal kept on visiting us.

Another one of our bird friends.

We left out bread crumbs for our bird friends since we didn't have any bird seed. We were like the bird gathering place!

I have loved having the snow here. It is soo pretty! Tonight we are supposed to get a couple more inches, and then Tuesday-Wednesday we are supposed to get up to 10 more inches!! I've already accept that I won't be going back to school for a while.. And it's just fine with me!
Back to more picture editing and blogging!
I'll be back later!

Black and White Party!!

Last Saturday, I had my 17th Birthday Party, a month late, but that's what you have to do when your birthday falls right around the holidays. My party had  a black and white theme, and the only color we had was some brightly colored soda! Everybody wore black, and we even had black and white food! Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Photo Booth Pics! These were soo much fun to take. We had all kinds of props: scarves, glasses, houses, even a dinosaur!
Party stuff. Food and the photo booth.
I loved having this party, and I cannot wait until I have another themed party! Other than eating food and taking pictures, we watched the movie "Guess Who?". Ya know, the one with Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac. Soo funny, and we thought it fit the whole black and white theme. We also played Dance Party 2, which was quite hilarious, seeing that I can't dance. But all in all, it was a great night. Now I'm off to edit more pictures, and then do some more blogging to catch up!
XOXO, Abbey Elizabeth.

"I wanna wash my face, my hands, my hair with snow"

Within the past 24 hours, Oklahoma has been hit with a blizzard. Snow drifts are up to 2 feet deep. Inches of snowfall is about 1 foot. Snow is still coming down. I am going to build an amazing snow man. Plus, I'm not in school. Which is lovely. Pretty much, this ginormous snow storm just decided to come to about 4 states. And I think that we're all quite happy, atleast, school kids are. Do I think that I'm actually going to be at school at all this week? Nope. Am I complaining? Nope. I'll take some pics, but it might be a while before I get to share any. I'm hoping to fix this computer today. Hoping that I will figure it out. I have everything backed up,  so we'll see where I get.
Stay warm everybody, and enjoy this Winter Wonderland.
xoxo. AE.
